Let's read! Today we are starting our school wide reading challenge
"Worm your way into good books!" based on the well known "Fire Up With Reading " program we did last spring. Students, faculty and staff will build our bookworm by adding a book icon to the bookworm for reading at least 30 minutes each day (Kindergarten students for 15 minutes). We are hoping to add at least 10,000 icons to the Bookworm by October 30th.
We will celebrate our reading accomplishments on Monday, November 2nd with a visit from author Toni Buzzeo, who wrote
Fire Up With Reading,
The Library Doors,
Our Librarian Won't tell Us Anything,
"R" is for Research and other delightful picture books.
