Our Dragon has been growing by leaps and bounds since we started our Get Fired Up With Reading program on February 13th. As of March 19th, we have 16,442 scales recorded on our Dragon. It completely circles our Library/Media Center and then proceeds down the other side of the main hall. There's just 2 days to go, as this year's Dragon reading ends on Sunday, March 21st. We will make a final tally of scales and determine which classes have read the most on Monday. We'll have our Dragon parade on Wednesday, March 24th with the winning class from each grade carrying the Dragon through our halls and all our students playing instruments and joining in our celebration of READING!
